Coin War

This week we are starting a Coin War for the 4th grade Austin Field Trip to earn more money. Coin War started November 5th and will end November 15th. Who ever wins Coin War, the top grade/class, gets a reward. Coin War also provides coins, sometimes dollars can work but, coins get more value. Wow! That’s shocking! But, did you know that in Coin War, the best  4th grade teacher, Mr.Cataffo is in the lead??? And wow was he shocked. Well, that’s all right now.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Denver Broncos

“TOUCHDOWN!”  shouted Bill Cowher when Romo got his 5th touchdown and 506 yds (career high!) The score was tied at 48. Then,  the Cowboys kicked it off. That’s when the Cowboys D (defense) made the Broncos go 3 and out (that means the Broncos got a turnover) So, that caused Romo to go on a role... but thats when Romo got an interception and the person who got the interception ran to the 20. Romo threw the interception with 1:53 left to play! After that, the Boncos field goal unit came out.’’ The kick is up... and it’s GOOD!!! ”Most Cowboys fans blamed Romo for the loss. But I disagree because who threw 506 yds, and who threw 5 touchdowns. Also who made the Cowboys score there carreer high points (I think. ) Most fans think that it was the best game in the century! Also since the game was so good and close, fans want them to play two times a season!

Robert Griffen III (RGIII)

Robert Griffin was born Febuary 12,1990 in Okinawa,Japan.

Robert’s real name is Robert Lee Griffin III. He was born in

Japan because his parents were in the miltary. Robert had

a name that people called him instead of his name (RGIII).

RGIII went to Copperas Cove High School in Copperas Cove,

Texas. He was number 10 in high school and wore it the rest of his football carrer. Robert was the QB and was a starter. Robert got a scholership to Baylor universtety. Robert’s first game he was runnig and passing. That year the Baylor Bears went 10-3. But they had to play Oklahoma who they never could beat.But that led to the last play with 18 seconds left. RGIII spreaded out his wide recivers and said “Hut”. He ran to the left and spotted his open man and threw it to Tarrence Williams at the back of the endzone.”Touchdown”!!! RGIII and th baylor crew won against Oklahoma Finaly! RGIII also won the Heisman Trophy Award. In the 2012 NFL Draft RGIII was drafted to the Washington Redskins. RGIII also won the Rookie of the Year Award.RGIII was like a running QB. RGIII had a disapointing moment when he tore his ACL.

   

Call of Duty 2

POW! POW! Call of Duty is basicly a shooting game that is rated+10 that means it is not for kids. You can play it on Xbox and I think on Playstation.They mostly sell it at Game Stop.

You can pick your very own gun like AK47 ( a machine gun).There is zombie mode.And you can be on multiplayer and play wih different kinds of people.And some people record themselves playing the game.And the pepole who made it are making new Call of Duty games. The people names are Toby turner, pewdiepie, smosh, and skydosecallofduty.

Adrian Peterson

Adrian Lewis Peterson was born on March 21,1985 in Palestine,Texas.He was born to

play football.He started out as a pretty good runner.When he went to Palestine High

School,he tried out for the Palestine High School football team.Adrian became the

runningback in the lineup.In high school,Adrian improved that he became a talented

runningback.After high school,Adrian went to Oklahoma University.He joined Oklahoma’s

football team.After all those years that Adrian worked for, it was finally time for Adrian to

work the tryouts to become a NFL football player.It was dream to become a famous football

player.Since he was a runningback, he had to praticipate in the dash.His grade was good enough to become a NFL football player with a 4.4 yard dash.Adrian signed up with the

Minnesota Vikings.He made the tryouts and became the 7th overall pick drafted to the

Minnesota Vikings.He had heard about Eric Dickerson and how he had made the most

yards in a season.Adrian wanted to have the most yards in a season and become famous

for a thing that was so memorable and how he could get nicknames for doing such a

amazing thing that would be past down for years and years.He was going so well in the

2007 season where he started his NFL career until November 24,2011 when the Minnesota

Vikings took on the Washington Redskins when his whole career was about to be over.

During the game,Adrian had a direct hit and he tore his ACL and his MCL!Unfortunately,

he returned the next season and was well trained.He really improved that season.He even

scored a 82-yard touchdown and he even tied the NFL longest rushing touchdown!In 2012,

he was 8 yards short  of the record of the most yards in a season.Today, Adrian is remebered as one of the top runningbacks in the league.

Viking University Clubs

Guess what?

Charlotte Anderson Elementary is now starting Viking U. There are so many new clubs. Like Crochet, Tennis,Wii Dance,  and much more. You know that Ms.Clayton,  the technology teacher loves crocheting so much that she made a crocheting club this year. She usually does technology club but now she wants to teach the kids in the school how to crochet! What is really famous now is the tennis club by the MISD Tennis Association. Lots of people signed up that the next day  the club was full of lots of people. Wii dance is with the best 4th grade teacher Mrs.Brightmon. It is only for 1st grade people. New this year is the Pinterest club by the librarion Ms.Robinson, 3rd and 4th grade girls only. You get to create lots of intresting stuff and get to play lots of games online. That is all the amazing stuff there is this year for Viking University, hope you signed up for all the clubs!

 

Minecraft

Minecraft is a wonderful game that can be appropriate for all ages. It is a game Where you can make anything you want. I created a zombie battle arena, where you have 3 choices- easy, hard, or expert.

There are tons of monsters and animals in minecraft. Heres a list-

Tools and Food

You can make tons of tools and food in Minecraft. Pick Axes, Hoes, Axes, and Swords. You can make them out of wood, stone, iron, gold (or as some people call it, butter), and diamonds. Food can be cooked in a furnace. There is steak, cooked porkchops, cookies, rotten flesh(This poisons you so watch out!) spider eyes(again, poisons you!) apples, gold apples(Heals you if you got hurt) Cake, and burnt spider eyes.

The Nether

The nether is a Terrible place! There’s lava, demons, and other evil creatures. P;S, the nether is the terrible wasteland underneath us.
